Before your wax
- Let your hair grow to at least ¼ inch. Skip shaving right before your appointment.
- Arrive with freshly cleaned, dry skin and wear comfortable, loose clothing.
- Tell me about retinol, prescription skin treatments, medications and recent peels before your service.
- If your skin is sunburned, broken or irritated, message me before coming in.
After your wax
- Give freshly waxed skin time to settle. Avoid hot baths and showers and wear loose clothing.
- Use gentle skin care and a moisturizer that won't clog pores. Hold off on scrubs while skin is sensitive.
- Follow the personalized aftercare instructions from your appointment.
- If redness or swelling lasts more than two days, contact a dermatologist.
